RZIM Lends a Helping Hand

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected the entire world, RZIM LFS through its office in Shillong has come forward to lend a helping hand.  The team responded to the public appeal issued by the Government of Meghalaya for blood donors as the Regional Blood Bank has been unable to maintain a steady supply of blood units because of the current crises.

The team was able to coordinate with the authorities of The Pasteur Institute where the Regional Blood Bank was situated to arrange for a Blood Donation Camp on May 6th from 1030 am onwards. An appeal was made to friends, partners, and well-wishers of the organization to come forward for this good cause. Needless to say, the response was quick and encouraging.

The doctor in-charge was particularly impressed and delighted by our initiative.  She expressed her sincere gratitude to the organization and urged us to be a regular partner with them.
