Training in Apologetics
Apologetics is a word that derives its meaning from the Greek apologia, meaning, ‘a reasoned defence’. In the Bible, apologetics is synonymous with evangelism: “But in your hearts, set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer [apologia] to everyone who asks you for the reason for the hope that you have, but do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience.” – 1 Peter 3:15-16. In its essence, apologetics is the art and science of Christian persuasion: communicating the relevance, coherence, and reasonableness of the Christian Gospel to skeptics, cultural influencers, and critical thinkers.
RePlenish is a one-day youth apologetics program specifically for Christian students at college and university levels to explore and clarify questions pertaining to the Christian faith and its implications. In today’s social scenario, students often encounter questions and issues that are at odds with the Christian faith. RePlenish equips students to answer such questions with clarity and sensitivity, while speaking truth in love.
RePlenish will enable students to ‘live out loud’ their faith on campus and among peers, restore their zeal for evangelism using a strong foundation of Apologetics, and understand the Christian faith in a world of confusing voices.
RZIM hosts a high-profile, three-day training programme to equip, energise, and empower Christian CEOs, business heads, civil servants, judges, academicians, journalists, artists, leaders, and top executives across all professions.
